TDO LAN Party

This summer will see the first official TDO LAN Party with all-comers welcomed! The location will be
Blaubeuren/Weiler near Ulm in Southern Germany, with an entrance fee of €25. More to follow as the date
approaches, but for now, here are the initial details from Jippo:

We have a location with room for about 80 people.
There is no age limit.

General Information
|
- Date: 28 June 2002 - 1 July 2002
- Location: A small unused industrial hall in Neu-Ulm, the address is Heinz-Ruehmann-Strasse
10, 89231 Neu-Ulm. Click here for 3 maps which should help you find your way.
- Sleeping arrangements: Bring a sleeping bag and a mat if possible because the floors are very hard.
- Internet access will not be possible, so remember to bring all software, patches
and drivers with you.
- Projector and screen for the World Cup Final on the Sunday.
- Beer and soft drinks will be available at the party.
- Included in the price is breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, the evening meal on
Saturday and as much coffee as you can drink.
- Make sure you all bring a network card and network cable and a multiple socket
for your equipment.
- Competitions: So far we have decided to have a 2on2 and a 6on6 competition. The teams for the 2on2
competition can be entered on arrival. The teams for the 6on6 competition will be drawn from a hat, so
this is more of a fun thing. Due to the LAN being rather small, sponsors for prizes were not possible. But
each team that wins a tournament will receive a crate of beer :)
